At The Work Perk, we think hard work deserves rewards. That’s why we work with leading organisations like Nestlé to create fantastic sampling initiatives, as a means of employee rewards for global companies. We’ve been able to sample fantastic products from the Nestlé portfolio, like KITKAT, Nescafé Gold, Nescafé Azera, and Polo to name few. In fact, we take so much pride in keeping employees happy…that we’re also doing the same for their pets!
We’re initiating sampling campaigns for PURINA’s Pets at Work Alliance to support their goal in highlighting the benefits of pets in the workplace. Similar to studies on employee rewards, pets in the workplace bring many business and health benefits to staff members.
It’s because of this that we decided to launch The Pet Perk in 2017 – a unique sampling platform that gives employees the opportunity to receive samples from reputable pet brands for their furry friends to enjoy! We’ve worked with brands and sampled products from the likes of PURINA, Aller Petfood, IAMS, Eukanuba, Pet Head and many more.
“According to the Pets at Work Survey conducted by Purina in 2017 with 3,221 participants (dog owners) in 8 countries across Europe (UK, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Portugal), only 12% of work environments are pet-friendly. However, if given the choice, 68% of employees would take their dog to work.”
We’re running these campaigns for PURINA to encourage organisations to update their policies and allow employees to benefit from the inclusion of pets in the office. For brands, this sampling mechanic generates fantastic results in increasing brand awareness and influencing sales. For recipient companies however, it highlights not only the amount of pet owners in the company, but inspires a company culture that acknowledges the link between pets and employee wellbeing.
