Data Protection Notice for Website Users, Customers and Potential Customers

    • The Work Perk Limited (“The Work Perk”, “we“, “our“, “us“) are committed to protecting personal data and respecting your privacy.
    • This notice (“Notice”) sets out how and why we collect, use and disclose personal data that we receive from you or otherwise obtain about you.

    • Questions, comments and requests regarding this Notice may be emailed to or sent by post to the above mentioned address.
    • We collect various types of personal data about our prospective customers and business contacts for the following purposes:
      1. providing our services;
      2. contacting and notifying those who have signed-up about our upcoming campaigns; and
      3. marketing, where necessary on the basis of your consent.
    • We may obtain your personal data directly from you or from a company with which you are employed or associated as an officer or shareholder. You may also provide personal data to us by filling out any of our forms. We may also obtain your personal data from publicly available sources or through your use of our website.
    • As our current or potential business contact it is in our legitimate business interest to process the following for the purposes of marketing our products or services to you:

      2. contact details;
      3. information on your job role;
      4. your work address (for Work Perk); and
      5. your home address (for Personal Perk).
  • As a website user we may process your personal data for the following purposes on the basis of our legitimate interests:
    • providing our services to you. For example, you may sign up to one of our services and/or opt-in to a campaign;
    • responding to the contents of your email to us;
    • internal record keeping;
    • improvement of our products / services;
    • transmission by email of promotional materials that may be of interest to you, where you have consented for us to do so;
    • contact for market research purposes, which may be done using email. Such information may be used to customise or update the Website;
  • As a Website user it is in our legitimate business interest to process the following for the purposes of providing our services and managing the website:
    • your name;
    • contact details;
    • information on your job role;
    • your work address (for Work Perk);
    • your home address (for Personal Perk); and
    • details on your use of our website.
  • Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the [European Union].     • We do not share your personal data with third parties for the purposes of marketing and we do not sell our marketing lists without your permission. We sometimes provide brands with email addresses if you have consented for us to do so. These details are always sent as an encrypted document.
    • We do share your personal data with our logistics partners in order to arrange for delivery of our products.
    • We may disclose personal data to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, or to enforce any contracts with us or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Work Perk, and this may include disclosing personal data required from us by governmental or law enforcement authorities or a trade association of which we are a member.
    • We may also use and disclose personal information when you provide that information to us and with your consent.
    • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets. If The Work Perk, or substantially all of its assets, are acquired by a third party, personal data held by us will be one of the transferred assets.
    • This Website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites. The Work Perk has no control over such websites and is in no way responsible for the content thereof.  This Policy does not extend to your use of such websites.  Users are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.
    • We will keep and process your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected in connection with your relationship with us, unless we have a legal right or obligation to retain the data for a longer period, or the data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
    • The Work Perk will keep the personal data relating to you for marketing purposes for the period that you remain on our marketing lists. We will check with you every 2 years to make sure that you remain on our marketing lists and you can ask to be removed at any time.
    • You have the following rights:
      1. To object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing.
      2. to obtain access to your personal data – you may request information on how your personal data is handled by us and request a copy of such personal data;
      3. to request us to correct or update your personal data if it is inaccurate or out of date;
      4. to object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of our legitimate interests, unless we:
        1. demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your right to object, or
        2. the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
      5.    to erase your personal data held by us:
        1. which are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected,
        2. to the processing of which you object, or

  1. to restrict processing by us, i.e. the processing will be limited to storage only:
    1. where you oppose to deletion of your personal data and prefer restriction of processing instead, or
    2. where you object to the processing by us on the basis of its legitimate interests (see para 7.1(c) above); and
  2. to transmit personal data you submitted to us back to you or to another organisation in certain circumstances.
  • These rights are not absolute and may be subject to certain conditions under the GDPR. Should you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact The Work Perk using the details in paragraph 2.1 and provides us with at least the following:
    1.    your name;
    2.    proof of identity;
    3.    the right you want to exercise;
    4.    the personal data to which it relates.
  • Where processing of your personal data is based on your consent you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, this will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent prior to withdrawal.
